My work is a visual invocation of transformation. Every piece I create is rooted in the sacred cycles of life, death, decay, and rebirth—where beauty doesn’t hide from the ugly, but is born from it. Inspired by Haitian Vodou symbolism, swamp ecology, and the spiritual resilience of New Orleans, my art blends mysticism with lived experience.
Like the swamp itself, New Orleans is a place of mystery, depth, and resistance. It breathes culture, history, pain, and pride. I reflect that in my work—where a cracked streetlight or a gold chain might carry as much symbolic weight as a veve or spirit animal. My influences are both spiritual and raw: snakes for wisdom, butterflies for the beauty of transformation, skeletons for memory, and black panthers for quiet power and shadow sovereignty.
Each piece is a mirror. A testimony. A reminder that every scar tells a story and every cycle—whether grief or glory—feeds the next. With my art I honor this.
